Sunshine on a rainy day

As I sit here listening to the rain fall on the balcony outside I realised I’d forgotten how relaxing that sound was. For some reason it associates with tropical rainstorms falling on bamboo huts near a beach. Just the thought of nature doing it’s thing right outside the door brings a sense of calm that all is right in the world. That said it’s still bloody annoying when you forget an umbrella…
