About Matt

Who am I? Who is anyone for that matter. Are we simply collections of complex trained responses, or do we all have souls that are somehow timeless. More importantly, why do some people not like sambucca?

On a slightly less meta-physical note: I'm originally from England but have lived all over the world now - with New York holding a special place in my heart. I hold degrees in Physics and Computer Science from Brum - the first of which provides my more interesting conversations and the second a recurring income. All those 'wasted' years on my ZX Spectrum paid off after all, when what I really wanted was an Atari VCS - thanks mum & dad.

I've worked at a number of fun places building user focussed software solutions, and especially miss Quidnunc with it's unique blend of hard work and cult-like worship. Oh, and beer. My artist child is fed on photography and random website creations as well as writing this blog.

Oh, and if I wasn't here right now - I'd be diving in South America or Asia. Anywhere with turtles.
