That’s ‘wicked’ in the old skool sense of ‘awesome’ and other such superblatives that show my age… Coming on the back of my random site re-design this will be very exciting news indeed – so expect more information soonishly.

Finally got around to seeing Wedding Crashers last night. It’s one of those movies like Zoolander that I kept thinking I should like but wasn’t sure I would. Luckily, like Zoolander – now one of my favourite movies ever, it turned out to be an absolute gem.

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, the ‘heroes’ of the movie, play so well off each other as a pair of committed womanizers who crash weddings for fun ‘n frolics that I was constantly in stitches (and that goes for their commentary as well). In fact the whole movie could well be a worthy successor that high king of male ‘dating’ movies – Swingers, aside from suffering an attack of Hollywood ending-itis. So rent/buy, see, enjoy.

After about 4,000 odd re-designs for my blog that have churned through the cycles and kept me off the streets I’ve finally plonked for something simple and blocky. Oh, and orangey browny yellowy. Please let me know if you experience any problems with this version.

At some point there are still more things to do: what I really really want to add is some sort of tag-cloud style navigation for posts and consolidate all of my miscellaneous blogs into one central feed (while still maintaining the focus of the sub-blogs) that can be read here. Unfortunately Blogger doesn’t let me do this right now which means, of course, a largish migration effort to either self-hosted blog software or learning a new open source package. Unless of course Blogger decides to add good tag support in the next few weeks…
